Ferdi was born in Klerksdorp, South Africa and lived there until March 2007 when he immigrated to New Zealand. He is married to Lana, and they have 5 children and 8 grandchildren all living in the Waikato. He has worked in the Funeral Industry for more than 32 years. He joined the Seddon Park Funeral Home and Sadlier Funeral Service group in May 2008 as a Funeral Director. Matthew Sadlier promoted Ferdi to the position of Manager in August 2009 and he became Matthews right hand man. When Matthew sold the company, he made sure Ferdi was promoted to the position of General Manager for both Hamilton and Morrinsville branches. With his calm personality and passion to serve people he leads a great team of ten Staff Members.
