Offering a full range of end-of-life services - burial (including natural -burial), cremation, ash internment, and a chapel and lounge for funeral services – all revenue generated by the Hamilton Park Cemetery operation goes back into the community and the city through the Council.

Cemeteries Manager Michelle Rivers and her team have strong established relationships with the funeral directors in our city and region. They represent a key stakeholder for us, and we have a mutual understanding of each other’s business.

Michelle’s team is a group experienced, caring and thoughtful professionals who take great pride in their work and have a strong sense of community. They’re very experienced in dealing with people going through grief and who coming to terms with their loss, and also the industry professionals who support bereaved families – funeral directors, monumental masons, celebrants and florists.

The team places a major emphasis on meeting the needs of a diverse range of customers and supporting them with the final arrangements for their loved one. A key part of Hamilton Park Cemetery’s personalised service is ensuring customers understand their options – you won’t be rushed into making a decision and you’re encouraged to take your time.

Michelle and her team are very responsive to the needs of the increasingly diverse communities we deal with, and they can tailor our services and management to meet cultural protocols and families’ requests. Hamilton Park Cemetery can cater for large funerals with hundreds of mourners, or smaller private services where discretion and a low-key approach are the customer’s preference.
