Hello, I’m Mike, and for the past eight years, I’ve had the honour of being a funeral director. My journey into this role was unexpected, coming from a background in IT and A/V technology. However, I quickly discovered that my true calling lies in connecting with families during their most difficult moments. I understand the importance of compassion and care, and I strive to create services that truly honour the unique lives of those we’ve lost. Every day, I work to ensure that families feel supported and respected as they navigate their grief. My goal is to craft meaningful experiences that celebrate the memories of loved ones, providing a comforting space for reflection and connection. When organising Richard’s service, I looked at several options and chose Seddon Park because of their very detailed and professional quote which was sent very promptly. I still had many questions, all answered very respectfully.

This professionalism is very evident in all aspects of your service. Kathryn, you made a very traumatic and sad event so so much easier with your soft, empathetic and calm approach. We loved how the service came together and I know Richard would have been very happy with it.
